A classic English garden for a new period home, which needed to be both secure and private.

From a blank canvas, a large traditional garden was created for a keen gardener.
Features include a spacious, sunny terrace, with pergolas leading off to a sunken potager. The formal lawn is flanked by herbaceous borders and hidden paths. The stunning rill cascades down the steps from the upper pool and terrace running into the lower pool, the centre piece of the formal lawn. A backdrop to the rill, at the end of the garden is a large area planted with native meadow wildflowers.
Garden lighting and a full irrigation system were added along with a rainwater harvesting system.
